The Diaspora Parliament UK, USA and EU, is a pioneering global Parliaments established by YLP Global to as an Assembly of elected or appointed representatives from diaspora African, Caribbean and Asian communities to engage Governments of their host countries; United Kingdom, United States and European Countries through civic engagement, policy debate and dialogue, leadership development and international collaboration to shape political decisions and policy direction on issues which affect them on foreign policy, immigration, trade and investment, education, healthcare which impact their families.
The Diaspora Parliament therefore provides a structured, non-partisan parliamentary model that gives diaspora communities a stronger, organised and coordinated voice.
Our Vision — Bridging the Divide is born out of a simple but powerful conviction: that the descendants of those who helped build the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and European Countries, must be key stakeholders in policy decisions that impact their future in order to have a fairer, more inclusive and equitable society. Across generations, African, Asian, Caribbean and other diaspora communities have made significant contributions to economic growth, public service, innovation, healthcare, education, defence, business, and culture. Today, we believe their voices, experiences, and leadership deserve a stronger place in shaping the policies and partnerships that define tomorrow.
This Parliament stands as a connecting bridge between African, Asian and Caribbean diaspora communities and the governments of the United Kingdom, the United States of America and Europe. Through structured dialogue, evidence-based research and strategic engagement, the Diaspora Parliament will develop and present policy recommendations that contribute to national conversations on social cohesion, economic development, migration, education, healthcare, trade, innovation and international cooperation. As an independent, non-partisan institution, we seek to support national political leadership and government advisory processes by providing informed perspectives that reflect the aspirations, experiences and expertise of diaspora communities.
Through meaningful partnerships with governments, public institutions, businesses, local authorities, universities, diplomatic missions, and community organisations, we are committed to promoting inclusion, strengthening civic participation and creating opportunities for shared prosperity. We will champion practical initiatives such as diaspora integration programmes, county walk-in centres for immigration and legal support, cultural exchange festivals, leadership academies, business and investment forums, entrepreneurship programmes and training hubs that empower individuals, families, entrepreneurs, professionals, and future leaders.
The Diaspora Parliament exists to transform gratitude into partnership, representation into influence and diversity into opportunity. We are building lasting partnerships between diaspora communities and the nations they proudly call home, strengthening domestic and international cooperation through leadership, policy innovation and sustainable development. We are the bridge between heritage and opportunity, between belonging and leadership, and between governments and the communities they serve.

The Parliament will allocate parliamentary seats to Africans, Asians and Caribbeans in the diaspora as Members of Parliament, who will serve as representatives of various diaspora communities across the UK, US and Europe. These representatives will engage with citizens, businesses, corporate bodies, community organisations and local institutions to understand their needs, develop policy ideas, review government policies and advocate for decisions that positively impact diaspora citizens and their host communities.
Through its work, the Parliament will promote inclusion, equity, fairness, diversity, investment, innovation and sustainable development. It will serve as a bridge between diaspora communities, governments, businesses and countries of heritage, creating a united platform for leadership, representation, and positive change across nations.
